Saskatchewan continues to invite candidates in the express entry pool for their provincial nominee program. 11 draws have occurred since September 25, inviting more than 4,000 candidates with occupations in demand, ranging from those in the administration, health, sales, service, manufacturing, education and trade industries. The Province of Alberta has invited 354 Express Entry candidates to apply for a nomination over two draws held July 31st and August 7th. Alberta issued the 354 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to select Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores as low as 352. The NOI’s were issued through the Alberta Express Entry Stream, which allows the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) to search the federal Express Entry system for candidates who meet ...the stream’s eligibility requirements and invite them to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence, providing them with an additional 600 points. Since the first Alberta Express Entry Stream Selection, which took place just over a year ago, the AINP has held 27 draws. A total of 5,382 NOIs have been sent to express entry candidates. Express Entry Draw July 24, 2019 The recent Express Entry draw on July 24 issued 3,600 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence. The cut-off score was 459, a decrease from the previous minimum on July 10. This draw also saw the same increase of 250 ITAs over the last 10 draws, each of which issued 3,350 ITAs, making this tied for the largest draw since January 23, and we foresee the trend to continue. Applicants in the Express Entry pool are ranked based on sco...res for age, education, work experience and abilities in English or French. The highest-ranked applicants are issued an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence first. Express Entry also manages most of the Provincial Nominee Programs which are also set to rise in 2019 and 2020.
