It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that our beloved Zeke has gone to doggie heaven! He sure loved spending summers in Canada and LOVED greeting all our guests (friends) even more. In honor of Zeke, please share a photo and/or story you have of him while you visited the resort. He will be greatly missed!

It may not have been the season we were expecting, but getting to spend the summer and fall in this beautiful area is something we never take for granted. We would like to thank all the guests (friends) that have reached out throughout the year to check up on us and keep our spirits high. We truly appreciate you all! Also a special thanks to our amazing neighbors! We are truly blessed to have wonderful, caring neighbors that treat us like family! We hope everyone has a safe, healthy fall and winter! Can’t wait to see everyone in 2021!

I started baiting a new area this summer/fall as we continue to expand our bear area/number of sites to ensure the highest success rates. Sometimes when the season gives you lemons, you have to make lemonade. Amy has been wanting to bear hunt for years. It’s just not a possibility during a normal season. Well, this isn’t a normal season and her opportunity had come. She not only showed patience, but showed incredible composure and made a perfect shot! Getting to sit next to her in the stand and watch it all unfold was as exhilarating as hunting myself! This is a memory we won’t soon forget!

We officially have our new well hooked up! This is a day we have waited for since we purchased the resort! The water is crystal clear!

We haven't forgotten about our bear hunters! Here are just a few of the trail cams pictures we've downloaded. We continue to have more color phase bears show up. The future looks bright as well as we have many sows with 2+ cubs.

Another project just got crossed off the list! Our past guests probably remember how uneven and steep the ground was to get to the first dock. Problem has been solved! We just finished installing a two-tiered deck with steps going onto a brand new dock. Electrical outlet was relocated from the pine tree to a 4x4 post. Onto the next one...

Culvert project complete! We're pretty sure this culvert will handle the water!

It is with great sadness we have to report the border closure has been extended. The sun has officially set on our season! We appreciate all our guests (friends) that have reached out to offer support, comfort and to pass along much needed positivity during these unprecedented times. We want everyone to know, we will be back next year with the best Indiaonta Resort you have ever experienced! The season may be over, but our desire to improve has not wavered. We will continue to work hard to complete projects that will ensure every guest has the best Canadian experience! We look forward to seeing all our guests/friends soon. We miss you all! We are disappointed that we have to make another post about the border, but it was just announced that the border will remain closed until August 21. Guess it's back to projects for us as we continue to plan for the border to open. We are in the process of getting with guests that are affected by this news. ... See more

More upgrades! Tongue and groove pine on the ceilings with new lighting! Also replacing some of the old appliances!

Another new dock and 60’ of floating dock sections! Even during these uncertain times, our unwavering commitment to our guests has not changed! From day one our goal was to provide the best Canadian experience possible. We believe this starts with the guest experience. We still have a large To-Do list, but we are working diligently to get as many crossed off as we can. Now let’s hope the border opens at some point soon!
