Inspired Spaces

As promised, just a quick down and dirty tutorial on sprucing up your old outdoor Christmas arrangement while waiting for the Spring to arrive! It literally took me a half hour! 1.) We all have that sorry looking Christmas arrangement still on the front step , by taking out some of the old dead twigs and cutting back the rest, this will leave you some depth as you add in some new fresh greenery. ( can be purchased at any garden store) 2.) Add some new magnolia leaves, pussy ...willows, and curly twigs or red dogwood ( currently bright red in colour on the dogwoods which a lot of us have in the backyard). You can also take the old Christmas branches/dogwood and spray paint them fresh spring colours! 3.) I left my birchwood in the urns as it still give it that spring feel and again continues to add texture and depth - and Voila !!! Your new Waiting for Spring urn is complete until the pansy and daffodils are ready to be planted. 4.) If you are staging your home for moving, having this fresh urn and cleaning off the front entrance is a BIG WIN for prospective buyers! This beautiful entry will be the first thing buyers see when they come to the door and it starts the showing with good vibes!
