Important #Vaccine updates: Canada will receive 8.4M MORE doses from Pfizer over the next three months, bringing us to a total of 50.7M doses delivered by the end of June! We are also are standing by to deploy the Canadian Red Cross to help Ontario's mobile vaccination teams get their out of freezers and into arms.... Right now, we all have to work together to #flattenthecurve while getting vaccines to residents as quickly as possible.

That's why we are investing $99.4 million improve living conditions in #longtermcare homes across Ontario! Our federal government is committed to work with the provinces to significantly improve the living conditions in #LTC homes. The funding announced today is one step in our efforts. We will continue working alongside our partners at all levels to implement national standards for long-term care homes and implement the Safe Long-term Care Fund to better protect our elders.

Big announcement this morning! Our Federal government is delivering $62M to support safe and accessible public transit in #Mississauga! A New, 2-way Bus Rapid Transit Corridor along Lakeshore Road Heated bus shelters with digital signage and accessible bus pads New zero-emission battery electric vehicles and upgrades to existing MiWay buses... and more enhancements! These improvements will promote passenger safety, encourage active transportation, and provide residents in #MississaugaErinMills and across the city with a better and more reliable transit system.
