It's #worldlionday today! I'm proud to post my portrait "The Queen" in support of @bloodlions and @world_animal_protection's 800 Voices for 800 Lions campaign. Every year 800 lions are slaughtered for their bones in South Africa. The goal of the campaign is to get the government to end the legal trade in lion bones and body parts. I so enjoyed drawing this beauty! It was a slow process, but the results are definitely worth it Also thinking I definitely need to do more backgrounds like this!
