A Time to worship: The hours appointed for the morning and the evening sacrifice were regarded as sacred, and they came to be observed as the set time for worship throughout the Jewish nation. And when in later times the Jews were scattered as captives in distant lands, they still at the appointed hour turned their faces toward Jerusalem and offered up their petitions to the God of Israel. In this custom Christians have an example for morning and evening prayer. While God condemns a mere round of ceremonies without the spirit of worship, He looks with great pleasure upon those who love Him, bowing morning and evening to seek pardon for sins committed and to present their requests for needed blessings.Patriarchs and Prophets, 353, 354.

ELISSA ANTONIO'S MEDICAL AIR EVAC FUND Good afternoon Parents/Staff, I trust that everyone had a great week.... For those of you who may not be aware, Elissa Antonio desperately needs our help. After falling 40 feet over a cliff while vacationing in Trinidad she is in tremendous pain and her pelvic bone is broken in several places. Her right leg is fractured and right heel is broken. The most painful of the injuries is the broken pelvic sacrum that connects to the spine. She is in constant pain and needs to return to Canada for emergency surgery. The cost for her to return to Canada for surgery is $50,000. The longer she stays without surgery is the more likely she will not have a full recovery. If possible, I am requesting that all Pathfinders/Staff contribute $5.00 each towards her return trip to Canada. Every amount will help. I have made arrangements with one of her family members to ensure that whatever we collect will go towards her return trip to Canada. At tomorrow’s club session I will be collecting for those who are able to contribute. Much appreciated and God Bless! Please see below... HELP! HELP! PLEASE HELP! Life is very fragile. In a moment you can go from laughing and dancing to being bed bound in excruciating pain. Elissa Antonio a loving mother of two beautiful girls Brianna and Moneque, had an unfortunate accident while visiting her family in Trinidad. She fell 40-feet off of a cliff and it is only by God's mercy that she is still alive. Her injuries are very extensive and life altering. Her pelvic bone is broken in several places. Her right leg is fractured and right heel is broken. The most painful of the injuries is the broken pelvic sacrum that connects to the spine. She is in constant pain and needs to get back to Canada for emergency surgery. The longer she stays without surgery is the more likely she will not have a full recovery. The accident happened Monday March 28th and she needs a Medical Air Ambulance to bring her home to Toronto, Ontario Canada. The cost of the ambulance is $50,000. Unfortunately she did not have travel insurance and is in dire need of your assistance. We never know what life may throw at us and we may be the ones in need of help. Please help bring this bright spirit back home to her daughters. We sincerely thank you in advance for your support. Friends and Family of Elissa Antonio
