Hello All! There was a customer who visited the winery from out of town on Saturday, October 3rd between 2:30-4:30 who has since tested positive for covid. We received a call informing us on Monday and have spent the past day and a half focusing our efforts on those who were present during that time frame as well as sanitizing and increasing safety protocols. Two employees are now self isolating for two weeks and we are happy to report they are showing no symptoms and doing ...well. Since finding out we took Monday to sanitize the entire winery and yesterday we had the health and safety inspector come in to ensure that we are doing all we can for the safety of our staff and patrons. We passed everything but we still be taking some extra precautions and implementing more protocols for the future safety of everyone who visits the winery. We have ordered and will be putting up plexiglass for added protection at our cash. We will also be only serving samples outdoors now to ensure masks are worn at all times inside the building. Additionally, outdoor samples will be served in paper disposable cups instead of glasses, so they are not passed back to our staff members or brought back inside. Serving our samples outdoors will also alleviate congestion indoors and better facilitate social distancing in the winery. We have two high risk family members and do not take Covid lightly at all. We are trying to navigate these waters the best we can and after the news and local media were notified we have been directing our energy towards the future safety of our visitors and staff. As part of this effort we will not be serving our wood-fired pizza for the rest of the season but we will continue to serve it again in Spring. We will also be canceling our art feature this weekend but will definitely be rescheduling our artists for a future date. The winery is open though and will be all weekend long. We are also still performing our deliveries this week. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us with well wishes and support. We appreciate your concern and thoughtfulness during this incident so very much and hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving!
