I want to share something with all of you. Finding motivation is difficult at the best of times but after 13 months of this so called life it feels nearly impossible. Being a small business owner just plain sucks right now. As of late I have been questioning myself why. Why do I keep K+ going? In almost 4 years I’ve never paid myself and any money earned I’ve put back into making K+ better and better for all of you. The last 13 months of being either closed or under res...trictions theres been zero revenue so yesterday’s announcement of no changes isn’t a celebration. This is the time of year that a lot of us make New Years resolutions and reflect on the past year. First thing most of us think about is exercise. I quickly realized that I need to get my butt out to the garage and hit the bag because it’s been 6 weeks since I wrapped up. While I struggled through my workout all I could think about was one year ago. This time last year I was 6 weeks out from a fight in Vancouver, and then 6 weeks after that fight I had to close the gym. ... The two other fights I had scheduled for 2020 would never happen. Then it hit me. I’ve been fighting ever since. Fighting to keep K+ alive, fighting to keep myself and family safe from covid, fighting to stay healthy, strong and sane. It’s been a hell of a year but K+ is still alive, my family is healthy and I’m mostly still sane. Good riddens 2020 but let’s not forget what we’ve accomplished. A lot can happen in a year or in 6 weeks. Here’s to 2021 and fighting the fights we love instead. Coach See more

No classes tomorrow (Saturday) Starting next Saturday it will be bag classes at both 1pm and 2pm Let me know it you want a spot.

After receiving some clarification from Boxing Alberta it has been determined that bag classes CAN continue. Sparring and partner classes CANNOT. I’ll be figuring out the schedule and keep everyone posted. Those who are already booked in for bag classes will retain their spots. Kids class will not continue until further notice as we have to maintain the physical distance requirement. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any concerns. Coach
