My wish...for all of us

Happy New Year!! As I reflected on all 2020 has given and taken, I realized that we were given quite a lot! Trips to Toronto, Denver, Boulder, Vail, a 10 day motorcycle trip through BC! We celebrated our second son’s 25th birthday! Celebrated my daughters wedding shower, surprised her in her new home in MB, celebrated her bachelorette party and by the grace of God, her wedding! I TURNED 50!! Even in a lockdown, it was the best birthday ever!! Gifts, surprises, parades...I ...am so blessed. I GREW A GARDEN SUCCESSFULLY We celebrated a very special young man we lost to a motorcycle accident and participated in a memorial ride. We hiked the beautiful Larch Valley for the first time. We social distanced with dear friends and neighbours and toasted frontline workers with our Quarantini’s! We Zoomed and Teamed and found new ways to stay connected with our families and friends. We found out we are going to be grandparents for the first time AND for Christmas we found out that we will be expecting a BLUE one Again, we are blessed. While this year didn’t look the way we planned or expected, it was a full year and for this I am thankful.
