Today we are talking wrist pain... we have some workout modifications & stretches to keep wrist discomfort at bay. Workout modification #1 Roll up a yoga mat under the heal of your palm when weight bearing. ... Workout modification #2 Use dumbbells or kettlebells to elevate during planks or pushups Wrist stretch #1 In a tabletop position point fingers to the knees and slowly rock back and forth Wrist stretch #2 Gently pull the fingers back pointed up & pointed down holding for a few seconds each Wrist stretch #3 Reverse your namaste and gently pull elbows down to get a deeper stretch

Let’s talk SQUAT SAFETY at home! With so many of you joining us virtually we want to make sure your squatting form is in tip top shape keeping you moving safely and efficiently! *starting with your base of support, keep feet hip width apart or slightly wider and anchor your toes and heels into the ground. *align the body by levelling the pelvis between the ankles & engaging through the core to stand tall. *begin the movement with the hips as if sitting back into a chair, knee... and ankle hinge follow. *keep the tailbone in a down facing position opposed to out the backside *ensure knees are stable tracking over the feet and avoid allowing them to cave inward or outward. *stay at a height that keeps the low back from arching. Keeping a squat high in proper form is more effective than a low squat that releases the low back. HAPPY SQUATTING! Are there any other moves you’d like our trainers to elaborate on?
