The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings measure the societal impact of universities by evaluating an institutions’ success in delivering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. A team of Lakehead University researchers is interviewing and surveying newcomer women in Northwestern Ontario to determine how they can overcome the economic shock caused by COVID-19. Lakehead University’s Centre for Education and Research on Aging and Health is receiving more than $127,000 to market and grow a podcast about dementia, thanks to the Government of Canada’s Dementia Community Investment fund.
