Santa showed up at our CanSkate session today to say HI to all our little skaters and to remind them that he will be back in 11 SLEEPS!!

Langley Skating Club programs are running as usual, unless you hear otherwise. A reminder that social distancing is required at arrival, in dressing rooms, and on ice. Sportsplex has also recommended wearing a face mask for arrival and movement within the facility. Thank you for being safe and kind

The Langley Skating Club recognizes Brianna as our Feature Skater. Way to go, Brianna! A message from Brianna's coaches: Brianna always has a great attitude and a smile on her face. She has a new solo with music from the movie, Enchanted, and it has been a delight to watch her learn the new choreography. She can be very proud of her hard work as she learns new skating jumps and spins. Congratulations on this accomplishment! We are all very proud of you!

Happy National Coaches Week in BC! We are thankful for our wonderful coaches at the Langley Skating Club! Thank you for being dedicated and encouraging role models for our skaters. The Langley Skating Club recognizes Caity as our first "Feature Skater" of the 2020/21 skating season. A message from Caity’s coaches: Caity is a great example of what happens when you love figure skating, work hard and are committed to learning and pushing yourself. Last season, Caity finished 6 out of 94 skaters in the B.C. Super Series at the Star 5 level! She always wants to learn and her coaches are pleased with her dedication. She is an inspiration to others! Congratulations on this accomplishment, Caity!

Reminders for our Skating Families: 1.) The deadline for pre-season ice & PA training is tonight (Aug 24) at midnight. 3.) Fall 2020 reg is open to current club members at this time. 4.) Registration will open to the public on Sept 4th. 5.) No buy-ons this session due to COVID restrictions.

In need of some inspiration?!! Check out this #SCRewind of Stephen Gogolev capturing the 2018 Junior Grand Prix title in Vancouver. What an amazing athlete and competitor! Stephen is a Canadian figure skater who competes in men's singles. He is the 2019 Canadian national silver medalist.
