We did it again! 35 years ago, the need to survive, the necessity to overcome any obstacle and the ultimate dream to fulfill our destiny was such, that reinforced our entire existence into fighting for something greater than ourselves. Having to tame Scylla and Charybdis, today we are thrilled to announce the acquisition of our 6th building. A 10,000 sq. ft edifice intended to house our administrative, marketing and accounting departments while providing a brother monitori...ng station to facilitate the operations on Iberville. DONT GET LEFT IN THE DARK ABOUT YOUR MONITORING! Right now 235,000+ customers are without power in Quebec. While this has not affected operations at Lanvac, we wanted to share some relevant information with you: In the event of an influx in priority alarm traffic or when an AC Power failure is affecting a large area or an area where a significant number of monitored accounts is clustered, Lanvac may commence operations in Priority Processing Mode. This mode has the effect of... putting signals such as AC Power Failure, Low Battery and related environmental condition signals into a log/email-only event type. For customers where monitoring AC Power loss, Low Battery and Temperature Fluctuation is critical (such as poultry, hog or fish farms, blood banks etc.) it is possible to have such signals continue to appear as they normally would, even during a period of Priority Processing. Be sure to alert Lanvac of any account(s) where the above-mentioned event types are critical and cannot be placed into a log-only event type in the event of a Priority Processing Mode situation and to provide an email/text alert address whereby Lanvac can electronically alert the end-user! As always, a myriad of e-alerts and instant notification via text or e-mail options are offered to our dealers as part of their Lanvac package!
