I’m a bad news bear today! I close as of 8am tomorrow ...for only 2 weeks hopefully!

As I’m sure you’ve heard there have been a few changes to some regulations and guidelines across the province. We’ve done remarkably well at not being impacted by them thus far but we have some more work to do... Which brings me to this update. Effective at 8am tomorrow, I won’t be able to perform any services requiring removal of the mask...... No skincare treatments No dermaplaning No microneedling And possibly worst of all... No hair removal The expected date to return to these services is May 20, but that may change. I will be contacting every client who has an affected service booked to explain this update and discuss next steps. This is an important preventative step in slowing the movement of the new COVID 19 variants, and considering the alternatives I definitely support this decision. I know we don’t like having to follow these guidelines but public health and safety has to come first I also will be revisiting my COVID check to confirm that you haven’t been to HRM or any of the affected areas in the central zone recently. If so, we will have to delay your appointment. Please let me know if you have questions and if you have an appointment booked, I will be in touch as it approaches. Stay safe everyone!

Don’t try to cut corners or do it on the cheap... or get illegal products that aren’t safe because someone did a video about them! DON’T TRY TO DIY!!! Most quality treatments CANNOT BE DONE AT HOME!!! If you need guidance be prepared to answer a lot of questions, and to listen to the advice you’re given... no matter what that girl you went to high school with who started selling essential oils or MLM skincare says... Look for credentials. Look for experience. Look for investment in professional development and lifelong learning. Look for someone who wants to solve your problem not sell you stuff That’s where healthy skin is found... In real life. Not on the internet
