HELLO EVERYONE, [ This is my official last message as the President of LASA ] The election results for 2013 2014 LASA Executive Team are: ... It is my pleasure to announce that Soheil Ahmadyar is elected as LASA’s 2013-2014 President! Congratulations! The Complete LASA Executive Team for 2013/2014 are: President: Soheil Ahmadyar Vice-Presidents: Feriba Saboor & Jonaid Niazi Marketing Executive: Louren Salim Finance Executive: Haroon Khan Event Coordinator: Idrees Yousuf Congratulations to the new LASA 2013 2014 Executive Team! As I make this new pivotal step in my own journey. I reflect on an amazing 3 years of guiding, and growing with LASA an organization that I founded in 2010. I am thankful for the achievements over the three years of our highly talented LASA team. Specially, this year I was very lucky to have the DREAM TEAM! Each one of the executive members gave 100 percent to make LASA what it is today. A BIG accomplishment for LASA this year was to be the first Afghan Students Association to host three different events in one month (3 consecutive weeks) and ALL three of them were SUCCESSFUL! I would specially like to Thank my executive team for this year: Ferish Saboor , Noor Jan, Soheil Ahmadyar, Feriba A. Saboor, Louren Slm and Jonaid Niazi! Thank you so much for all your patients and help to LASA this year! I pass the baton with emotion and excitement for the organization’s continued growth, fresh perspective, and newly engaged leadership. I wish the new LASA team 2013 2014 all the very best. I know it is a very competent and energetic group of individuals who will take LASA forward with their active support and participation! In closing, I would like to express what an absolute pleasure it has been to lead this organization for three years and to work with each and every one of you. It has been a time of intense contribution. It’s been a time of giving back and seeing rewarding results. And it has been a time of creativity and learning. Finally, this is not the end of my association with LASA, I will always be involved with LASA on some level. Once Again, wishing LASA’s 2013 2014 Executive Team a very productive and successful year!
