Officer Farzad Gotbi's Message regarding TABLE OF HOPE..and the People behind the cause. Officer Gotbi has been helping us out on his own for the last couple of days. He and his colleagues have expressed their gratitude and joy seeing the community work.

When facing crisis like COVID19, It is extremely important that community organizations join forces and collaborate. This week, we helped Toronto Cares in procuring food items to distribute to 150 families in Toronto. Thanks to all the volunteers for your dedications.

Today, we successfully completed our 10 days Iftar/Meal distribution program. We distributed close to 4000 meals during the last 10 days and around 5000 meals during the month of Ramadan. It's been an amazing experience and we are truly grateful to all the sponsors, partners, donors, and volunteers, who made this project a great success. Thanks to Human Concern International for partnering up and giving us the hope and support to undertake the responsibility for doing a pro...ject like this. Thanks to Kitchen24, especially, Steve Kidron, for opening your door to us and providing us unconditional support throughout the entire project. During the last 10 days and throughout the Ramadan, Kitchen24 donated over 2000 meals to us. A special thanks to Khurram Aftam, a true community leader, for supporting this project all along. Khurram and his wife have given us unrestricted access to their commercial kitchen in which the food was cooked and prepared and supported us with their generous donations. We don't know how we could have done this without their help. We thank Madinah Grill, for donating over 250 delicious Bangladeshi style Iftar meals. Thank you Gias Uddin, Kamrul and Hasan, and the Madinah Grill team for your generosity. We thank Citylite Realty Inc Brokerage and Sunrise Caribbean Restaurant for donating around 300 meals. Thank you Azmol M for all your support. We thank Baraka Super Market for donating over 400lb of rice towards this project. We thank FoodShare Toronto for providing us with all the fruits and vegetables. Last but not least, we thank all the donors, and volunteers, many of whom we cannot tag on this post (but will tag on the comment section) for all your support and hard work. We could not have done this without your help. We truly appreciate your dedication and may God accept it from you.

The food packages are going to the needy families in Regent Park area. Thank you Human Concern International for supporting the needy during the pandameic and Ramadan. Thank you @Bappi Rahman and @Asad Ahad and all volunteers from Masjid Rahma for helping us distributing these food packages to the needy families.
