What have you started fresh with in 2021? As I have been sharing, 2021 is a new beginning and a fresh face for Little Lovey. This whole process with @sweeney.curations has reignited the fire behind why I do what I do and the products that I make. 2020 was hard, and it brought lots of feelings of doubt:... Doubt surrounding being able to truly represent the value in my products without being face to face with people. Doubt surrounding how I was going to be able to juggle parenting, virtual school, daily household and then continue to build Little Lovey. Doubt surrounding whether my small business would survive the year with all the closures and cancellations. I am here and overwhelmed with gratitude for all of your support which helped Little Lovey through 2020 and I am now ready for a new beginning in 2021 with a new look thanks to Amber and a new fire! The silhouette image behind Little Lovey has a deep personal meaning to me. This is a long one, but I wanted to share with you all the back story Going back to the first consultation call I had with Amber from Sweeney Curations about what I was looking for to freshen up the look. I didn’t really believe I wanted to do a full rebrand, but could not pinpoint what it was about the idea that had me so hesitant. When the topic of the image from my logo came up, I found myself st...opped dead in my tracks with a realization that I had a deep connection to that image. In my mind, that image represented me and my Babywearing days with my son. I absolutely fell in love with Babywearing when he was a baby and it is something that was hard to end when he grew out of it. With those days behind me, the thought of letting go of that image was triggering. At that moment, I started to cry, like an absolute crazy person, on the phone to this virtual stranger . Amber was amazing and reassured me that she would be able to take that image, modernize it to fit an elevated brand and still keep the meaning there. We connected in that moment, making the transition to entrepreneurship when our sons were babies. She talked to me about the value in updated the image to bring new life to the business and how it has been successfully done that way by many successful businesses. So it is with all the feels and a tear in my eye, I share with you the fresh, elevated and sophisticated representation of my heart that Sweeney Curations has nailed in every way! Right down to the Lovey Cover represented in the silhouette .
