The LNG Canada Project site has on-site medical facilities staffed by more than a dozen healthcare professionals and emergency response team members that are available to project workers 24-7. Providing professional medical care at our worksite greatly reduces the need for off-site services. International SOS (ISOS), a global health and security services firm, operates the project’s on-site medical clinics. A message from LNG Canada CEO, Peter Zebedee, about recent positive COVID-19 cases related to our project site in Kitimat, B.C.

Update from Northern Health: "As of Tuesday Dec 1, 52 employees associated with this outbreak have tested positive for COVID-19 (an increase of nine since the November 27th update). Eight of these cases remain active (44 are considered recovered). Two people are in self-isolation at the project site. Remaining individuals are in isolation in their home communities. On-site screening of employees, contact management & tracing are continuing, & there continue to be no public exposures in Kitimat & the surrounding area at this time."
