Announcement - February 8th The province has extended its provincial state of emergency and all associated orders, including the stay-at-home order to all ONTARIO regions except 3 that were specified. Leeds, Grenville is NOT one of them. ... The stay-at-home order will now expire on Feb. 16th unless it is extended further. That means anyone caught violating the stay-at-home order could still face fines and prosecution under both the EMPCA and the Reopening Ontario Act. A couple notes I’m sure, like myself, many were totally confused by today’s announcement. I had to call the regional health office to verify that I cannot open the salon as yet. PLEASE NOTE - I will not go through the exercise of rescheduling appts again until the lockdown is declared over , in case it gets extended again. I have all appts that were booked between January 1st to February 8th blocked off and in the order they were booked. PLEASE no new referrals or clients at this time. Once things have calmed, I can start taking new clients, but for now I have be fair to existing clients. Thank you yet AGAIN for your understanding and patience!

Dear Clients.. I’m sure everyone is now aware of today’s announcement by the Government of Ontario to shut down all non-essential businesses, effective December 26th to January 23rd inclusive. Regrettably, this includes Locks by Leah, so this is a notice to inform everyone the salon will be closed until at least January 24th. A couple notes: ... I have to do some major rescheduling of appointments. There are over 40 clients booked Jan 4th to 24th. Please bear with me as I will have to move appts around. I will be in touch AFTER Christmas with new or changed appointments times. Please no new referrals or clients at this time. Hi everyone.. Like you, I am excited to be able to get back to work! I do have to ask for your continued patience though. I have tons of requests to get to, but I promise I’ll get back to each of you. My priorities when scheduling will be based on appointments that were made before COVID hit and had to be cancelled, and the precautions I need to adher to for everyones safety. When I make your appt I will let you know what you need to do to protect yourself. Looking forward to our reunion!

Hi everyone!!! I have heard the good news. Please be patient with me as I have gotten a lot of emails and calls today, requesting an appointment. I will send out a message later today regarding opening date, hours and safety guildlines for when I book a appointment with you. I can't wait to see you all and hear what you've been up to!

Dear Clients Like many of you, I am hoping we are getting a little closer to being able to return to work. I anticipate hair stylists will be able to open in next 2 to 3 weeks, with safety caveats in place. Please be aware the threat of covid is not over and we will still need to take precautions. For myself, this will include having to disinfect and clean my workspace and equipment thoroughly between appointments. I will also need to be properly equipped with masks etc. P...lease remember to bring your mask. When salons, spas etc. do open please be patient. It will be 10+ weeks that we have not being able to work. I have accumulated a lot of clients to book into my schedule, some who feel they need to get in first or have very specific times. Also please note, your appointment could take longer, and cost more because your usual 6 week root touchup has turned into a 12 week color correction. The box color you used to touch things up could pose a huge problem to fix. You might not get squeezed in like you’ve always been able to do. You may not get the same timeslot you always do. I am going to do my best. I want you to be in my chair as much as you want to be there, but please be patient with me. I promise you; you will have a safe, clean and fun environment to come back to.
