Hi friends! Alena Maria and I have joined forces and planned a super amazing day for you! Truth bomb We have been wondering what is going on with this? ... Why hasn’t anyone signed up? The value is incredible and it just wasn’t making any sense. Then I sat with part of the core team at the stone house and sat from another angle. Yours. I asked myself would I go, not knowing what it entailed? The answer was surprisingly a hmmm maybe not Then I got real REAL. The answer was not a chance. I wouldn’t go to my own workshop? What? Omg! What?! Then some ah ha moments followed. We are ashamed to have body image concerns. I know that was certainly me. We hide these weaknesses. Yup, that was me too. We are embarrassed. Check. Shy. Oh heck yeah. Strangers. Not a chance. Scared beyond measure- most definitely. Having no idea what to expect and feeling self conscious we might run far far away from anything like what this event looks like. I would too. So what would it take to make this comfortable? A Valium? Just kidding, but really. I get it. If you have any interest, keep reading! Let me share how this workshop was created and our why. Both Alena and I have experienced body image weaknesses. We both have an incredibly strong desire to educate and love on people. For me, I often see body image on case plans in my private practise. I also see the feelings associated with that. Shame, guilt, sadness, fear just to name a few. You know what the worst part of that is as a facilitator? The amount of case plans that I see it all stay on because we put ourselves last. Far too often we feel not worthy. Part of my reason for wanting to create this workshop started long ago as I was learning in my studies the body image program. As I was learning one on one work, I was creating a group event. The vision was clear and the day brought tears to my eyes. I could see the whole thing and how it would empower the guests. I also saw how incredible and much more beneficial it would be in a gathering instead of one on one. I was meant to share this in a group. When I talked to Alena about my vision we were right in sync. She had so much more amazing stuff to offer you and so it began. The excitement for you continued to grow. Look at all the people we can empower! We were geeked! We met week after week to make this one of the most amazing experiences for our guests. I want that for YOU, if you’re seeking a change. I want YOU to grow and spend some time learning to love the one and only YOU! I also want you to know that you will be completely 100% safe and you will leave in a better place then you came. No cantering out. No awkwardness. Only love, empowerment and an incredible experience! If you’re in let us know. If you want to know the itinerary PM one of us and if you want to come but are scared. Trust me. That will subside in the first 5 min! I promise. We love you already! xo Amie and Alena

We all know sugar is not good for us, but we aren't realistically going to avoid it altogether so what are some healthier substitutes?? Best: Coconut milk, flesh, oil, summer squash, sweet potato, cinnamon, whole fruit... Okay: Stevia - natural sweetener from a plant, zero calories Rice or Malt syrup Xylitol sugar alcohol extract from birchwood or corn, 2.4 calories per gram Erythritol sugar alcohol, 0.24 calories per gram Honey produced by honey, antioxidants with trace amounts vitamins and minerals. Coconut sugar extracted from coconut palm, small amount of fiber and nutrients. Use moderately, still has high calories and high fructose. Avoid these: Agave nectar High fructose corn syrup Why are the last two SOOO bad?? Lets talk about 2 SIMPLE Sugars: Fructose metabolizes in the liver: turning into fat, increases insulin Glucose- metabolized in the body = energy Break down some fructose products: Well, Agave 90% fructose High fructose corn syrup 55% fructose Sugar 50% fructose Coconut sugar 38-48.5% fructose
