#AD Do we all agree that 2 is better than 1? 2 of my fav things are better together, wine and chocolate. In this pairing, I’ve matched West Coast wine with East Coast chocolates. A wonderful curated wine tasting at Okanagan Crush Pad paired with a Ganong Pal-o-Mine bar, rich brown sugar & peanut fudge covered in dark chocolate goes pairs really well with red and white wines. Both are 2 of my favourite Canadian companies and they are both run by families. Okanagan Crush Pad op...ened its doors in 2011 while Ganong has been satisfying Canadians sweet tooth since 1873. Both the wines and chocolate are available in retail stores or you can shop online for either and have them delivered right to your front door. Perfect for Xmas presents. 2020 is the 100th bday of the Pal-o-Mine bar and Ganong has launched a contest to celebrate. The grand prize is a handcrafted wooden canoe by artisan Norman Betts of Prospector Canoe in Miramichi, NB. You know what is also great to share? My love for Canada’s oldest family owned confectionary, Ganong. 2020 marks the 100th birthday of the Pal-o-Mine chocolate bar. Last year I was lucky enough to share a kayak with @missnatashad on Lake Okanagan. I’m craving that moment of serenity we achieved when we st...opped paddling and the only sound to be heard were of birds and the waves slapping against the side of our kayak.
