Hi folks, this is probably overdone, but on the scanning that I'm doing, this seems to be one of the better explanations of the 'Stay at Home order. I promise to post something grin worthy in the morning! https://bit.ly/3qnN2gc

Good morning all! We got the 'regs' last night regarding the 'Stay at Home' rules and I'll share anything that I think might be helpful. The following link that I posted yesterday is maybe the clearest on what's 'open' and not, but the "Stay at Home' bit is vague at best. https://bit.ly/3oNUil2

And....because it's important, a smile or a groan for the day. Actually an important health message? None of us want to cough or sneeze in public anymore.

Here's a red-line version of the changes from the province, pretty detailed, hope it helps: https://files.ontario.ca/moh-enhanced-provincewide-shutdown

Hi folks, a lot of confusion around the new rules, here's a simple breakdown. I'll post the Province's page shortly. https://bit.ly/3nE37MT

The first Canadian casualties in World War One occurred on November 1st, 1914, in the Battle of Coronel off the coast of Chile. 106 years ago. Malcolm Cann, Jo...hn Hatheway, William Palmer, Arthur Silver. Lost in service to our country. It’s easy to imagine these lives and so many others, lost so far away and so long ago, might be forgotten. But they, as with our fallen, they are not just names. They are the heroes who gave us the freedoms and opportunities that we so casually enjoy today. The letters etched in the cold stone of the cenotaph may be worn by time and wind and rain, but the knowledge of their sacrifice and the gifts that they have given us must be kept alive. The artist Banksy, said They say you die twice, one time when you stop breathing and a second time when someone says your name for the last time. Which is why it is so important for us to observe this moment of remembrance, to read the names of sons and daughters from our communities and to acknowledge their sacrifice. When you remove your poppy at the end of the day, I’d urge you to put it somewhere where you will see it daily. I’d urge you to consider what our fallen and what our veterans have done for us. Consider whispering the name from one or two of the inscriptions on the cenotaph. Keep the memory alive, each day. Sir Winston Churchill said, For the morning will come. Brightly it will shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn. And us? We will call their names and we will remember. See more

Another sunny day in Clarington! Flattening the curve is an individual choice, please use your masks, wash your hands, practice safe physical distancing and please, please respect your social bubbles. What each of us do can help keep our local businesses open. And those businesses are working really hard to make sure you can shop, eat and play safely. They are doing there part, let's all try to do ours.
