Thank you everyone for your support! This has been a great learning experience for me and I feel like I've grown tremendously as a person. I set goals for myself when I started this campaign and I'm happy to let you know that I surpassed all of them by quite a lot. Congratulations to all the candidates, winners and losers. You all did amazing and your dedication to this community will not be forgotten. Maybe we'll see you again in 4 years! ... - Mike

Well folks, it's all coming down to the next few days....and I couldn't be more proud to call myself part of the community that is the City of North Vancouver. I want to take a minute to thank everyone who's reached out and supported me, educated me on the issues, taken time to introduce me to their friends and family and to everyone who's already voted and will be voting tomorrow. You are the reason I am doing this. If I am chosen to be mayor of this great city I promise to... you that I will bring an energy and passion to city that's never been seen before. We can do this, but we can't do it divided. Lets all work together for the people, the community and the planet. Let's make 2018 the start of something special. On October 20th, vote for a sustainable North Vancouver, VOTE Mike For Mayor!!!! City of North Vancouver General Election 2018

Hello there! So the good news is that it's one day after legalization in the City of North Vancouver and the world hasn't collapsed! The bad news is that there is only one dispensary left on the entire North Shore and that's the Herban Art Collective. An independent, locally owned and operated small business and a part of the culture of the City of North Vancouver... The current city council has done an incredibly poor job of planning for legalization. Instead of having interim business licenses available for the active dispensaries, they decided to take them all to court and bully both business and property owners into submission. These local businesses have invested thousands of dollars into their operations, employ and support local community members and over time have become integrated into the community in an incredibly POSITIVE way. These dispensaries have been open and publicly engaging the community for over 3 years and actively bring in outside money in the form of tourism dollars to the entire business community. I consume cannabis.I support the cannabis industry. I support cannabis consumers. If you do too, vote Mike For Mayor and let's start supporting people instead of treating them like criminals.
