We're back with our Martini Friday series! This week our Food and Beverage Manager, Jeffrey Bursey is serving our Millcroft 75 which was just recently featured on Breakfast Television. We love Jeffrey's twist on this cocktail with the inclusion of a Millcroft honey simple syrup. Cheers to a great weekend! Ingredients: 1 ounce of bourbon whiskey 1 ounce of fresh orange juice... 3/4 of honey simple syrup 4 dashes of orange bitters Champagne or sparkling wine Orange Twist To make: Honey syrup - in a small saucepan, mix honey and water. Heat about 2 minutes over medium high heat, stirring constantly until honey is dissolved, Remove from heat; and set aside to cool, Store in a glass jar and refrigerate. Cocktail - Add the bourbon, orange juice, honey syrup and bitters to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Pour into your favourite cocktail glass and top with champagne.
