Acupuncture isn't scary according to 3 year old Anna, watch her take her first needle happily in the video below. The girls and I (Lonneke) have been seeing Dr. Gunnar for a long time now for our health care needs and when we saw him again on Friday for Anna, Ella asked if she could try a needle. When I asked her after why she had done that, she said: "Gunnar is special, he is different from other doctors and usually I am a bit nervous about doctors, but Gunnar makes me feel like I could do that". That made me realize that I should really write something about how great he is with kids.... Anna loves him and always feels very comfortable with him. For a high spirited little girl that is always on the move, she really relaxes on his table when he treats her with a Moxa stick, infra red laser and seed stickers. She asks him questions and he talks to her in a very kind and patient way. She also happily takes his drops that she doesn't love, because :"Gunnar says they are good for me". When Ella asked to try the needle, Dr. Gunnar immediately said yes. First he showed her on himself and explained how it worked and what it was for and then very gently put one on her arm. You can see in her little face how proud she was. She said she actually enjoyed it. I highly recommend taking your kids to see both Dr. Gunnar and Katharine. When my daughters were born, Katharine provided cranio sacral therapy on both of them and I think it really helped them with the trauma of birth. As a nice consequence of this, they now have a special bond with her.

Hi Everyone, We've had a very inspirational week working with clients with Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma and other eye clients... Our 56 year old client with diabetic retinopathy improved 3 lines on the eye chart and reported seeing much clearer images. His sleep and general well-being also improved significantly with only 7 days of Intensive Micro Acupuncture treatment. Hello everyone, We moved our whole clinic to the West End this January and we love it. If you haven't been yet I think you'll love it too!. Our new space offers a gentle, calming, relaxing and comfortable environment. The garden is beautiful and you are welcome to be there before, after and between your treatments. Hot tea always available. Our set up here also enables us to be more available for answering questions about your treatment and ongoing home self care.
