Incredible! This stunning Yellow Warbler was found to be 8 years old, upon recapture at the Beaverhill Bird Observatory - BBO! The oldest known Yellow Warbler was banded and recaptured in New York at 11 years of age. Yellow Warblers mainly eat insects, so are commonly spotted flitting around the tops of willows or shrubs. Listen for them singing sweet sweet sweet I’m so sweet.
