New restrictions: EMERGENCY Chiropractic Care during COVID-19 Outbreak During this time of COVID-19 outbreak and the mandatory shutdowns this week, our regulatory body and the province of Ontario has restricted care only to patients in need of emergency chiropractic services, defined as ANY of the following: -Sudden and debilitating change in functional abilities (understood as walking, standing, sitting, lifting floor-to-waist or waist-to-shoulder, stair climbing, ladder cl...imbing) -Significant restrictions in movement (experienced during bending/twisting, repetitive movement, pushing/pulling with right/left arm) -Injury to head/neck/back and extremities -Treatment aimed at alleviating significant pain, understood as pain that is incapacitating for the patient and interferes with their ability to carry out normal functioning. If this applies to you and you are one of our existing patients, talk to us about emergency care.

During this time of COVID-19 outbreak, our regulatory body has recommended that we only see patients in need of essential/acute chiropractic services. We have enhanced cleaning measures in place to keep you safe. Please do not come to the office if you have fever, new onset of cough, or difficulty breathing, AND have traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days, or had close contact with any person who may have a confirmed case of covid-19 or anyone who has had close contact with a person with an acute respiratory illness who recently traveled outside Canada before symptoms began.

WHAT IS SCOLIOSIS? Many people know someone who had a curvature in the spine (when viewed from the front), known as scoliosis.
