With a few days to spare we were able to complete this 42’ Dixion for my father! Major refit for her. We converted it from a whale watching vessel to a PEI style lobster boat, and powered her with a D11 625 Volvo, seeing 22 knots. Upgrades included Doucette stability fins, Provincial moulded seats, table and dash, 10 hydraulic bow thruster, custom wheel house and interior, new aft deck and tuna door along with a new painted hull. I wish him well in the morning and a safe setting day for all !

Safe to say this is the largest job I have had through the shop! The NBS crew and I were able to take this 42 Mac and turn her into a 45’x17’11 hard chine, keeping her under 15 tons! We were able to use composite board, no wood, through the entire build. The Pal-O-Mine now has new decks, gunwales, wheel house, and a sprayed gel coat hull. A 705 Cummins M11 was installed with the sea trial seeing 21 knots missing 200 rpm. We appreciate the business Ryan Welsh. We hope she treats you well and see you in July.

What a Buck! This vessel was once used for side dragging sea scallops , giving her exterior a harsh commercial look. The NBS crew were able fully restore the exterior of the hull, along with updating the interior for easy cleaning. #3mer #awlgrip #awlgripfinishes #commercialmarine #PEI

Shiny new custom 11’ canopy soon to be installed on a new Hustler 45’.

Made this 1998 Hutt look like a 2020! High gloss paint job, new gel coated decks/gunwales with custom 8’ fiberglass roof extension. The Blue colour was approved by Boyd MacMaster! Thanks Skip Mallard for the work.

Well needed TLC for this girl ! New 3/4 coosa washboards,new floors and fresh powder coated above floor fuel cell.

We got this 1987 Four Ports back up to 2020 style with a complete re-fit. We were able to make all parts of boat back to water tight again. Fresh gel coat on all surfaces and a new cabin table and benches with custom powdered coated hidden bolt table rail. We narrowed washboards to accommodate fishermen’s right amount of traps. Buffed and waxed hull with new vinyl names. Of course all metal fabrication including this awesome folding roof tower made by Adam Arsenault

Did some upgrades to a Doucette adding 25’ stabilizing chine to hull bottom. Next we removed aluminum engine hatch and replaced with provincial water tight with rubber bulb seal, and finished off with a buff and wax.

Fully outfitted this 45’ Dixon with Epoxy flake finish on all floors, with the working deck getting anti-skid texture for a non slip texture. Thanks JJ for the work.

Took this 45’ Arsenault back into style with a complete glass over with Durabale sprayed gel coat hull , new coosa gunwales ,new rub rails with SS bars , new keel shoe and hand painted signs. Shiny Paint Adam Arsenault

Here she is! Something that has pretty much consumed all my spare time over the last year. It couldn’t have been accomplished without a line up of people and I ...couldn’t be happier on how it turned out. It starts with @myhairladi being very supportive wife and understanding and I couldn’t have done it without her support. BULLETPROOF is 45’x18’ powered by 1000hp D13 Volvo spinning a 38x37 Osbourne prop. We seen 24.5 on sea trials light with cruising speed of 18.5 knots at 1900rpm. Neil Mackay was awesome to collaborate with. He was able to bring years of his knowledge in boat building into this design. Together, we worked hard on this project, that we hope is something that fishermen are looking to have in a vessel. @nortonsboatshop and the crew continued to work tirelessly to take it across finish line. She is now rigged for tuna, mackerel and snow crab. It helps when you have a welder/ fabricator on speed dial @aarsenault411 @tko188 @deanhicken without you guys she would look pretty bare! I sure hope she will hold to her name!
