Derek is part of the Forestry Sector Apprenticeship Initiative that supports individuals working in the forestry sector to advance their skills and contribute to a modern and sustainable forestry industry. He is one of 5 individuals who completed customized training at the Dexter Institute to enhance his skills within the trade.
