Community Living Oakville gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Frank and Azniv Lochan Family Foundation @oakvillecf , a registered charitable public foundation serving the Oakville community. Their donation will enable people we support to access virtual online programming and personalized supports; particularly in times of this pandemic. We thank you for your #generosity in enhancing the lives of the people we support. #stayconnected #grateful #inthistogether
It’s estimated that only about 25% of people who have a disability received the $600 COVID Disability Benefit that was paid on October 30th. Millions of people ...were left behind. People on ODSP didn’t automatically receive the benefit. If you didn’t get the benefit, you have until December 31 to apply for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC). If you qualify for the DTC, you will be eligible for the payment and other important benefits but the application process is confusing and can be overwhelming. Join Jill Teeple and Dr. Wayne MacLeod on November 23 from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. EST to learn about the Disability Tax Credit, the benefits of applying, how to talk your doctor to help them fill out the application, how to apply to increase your chances of approval. @halton_junior_civitan It’s a very special day for Halton Junior Civitans: Our friends at @communitylivingoakville will receive our Party in a Bag gifts and we will have a virtual party with them this evening! #community Happy Holidays!
Mary, what can we say - she's the joy and energy amongst us. She lifts us up, is the queen of real talk, is fiercely in the corner of the community we serve. She is CLO. At more than 20 years we say thank you, we wouldn't be us without you.
Help Community Living Oakville make a BIGGER IMPACT this holiday season by making a donation before the end of the year! https://mailchi.mp/bca1b0af086b/3-weeks-left-to-donate

When we couldn’t get together and celebrate all of our amazing staff who are receiving years of service awards this year, we decided to get them something extra. A huge thanks to Lindsay @foxandleafco for the generous donation of engraving all of the #yeti tumblers. Her work is truly amazing and it’s worth the visit to her Instagram page. Thank you to all of our staff who celebrated milestones this year. Your work is appreciated and your dedication to the people you support is valued.
After working alongside us for over 5 years we are grateful to call Alexandra our colleague. Her drive for optimal outcome for individuals, projects and initiatives is impressive. She instils a sense of can-do attitude in each and every one of us, striving to give the best and get the best. Please join us in congratulating Alexandra on what's been achieved and we look forward to how far we will go.
Every dollar raised this holiday season will be matched up to December 31. In a year where our planned fundraising events have not been possible, your donation is more important than ever. Please support Community Living Oakville today! https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/23800
Celebrating over 10 years of having Julie as a colleague. She is a manager with care, drive and motivation at her core. Positive is her middle name. Thank you Julie for, well, being Julie.
Well, what is there to say about Kim... other than she's absolutely brilliant. Cool, calm and kind. She's worked with CLO for 15 years. Having worked her way through the ranks, she now manages our on-call service and boy are we grateful. It couldn't be in more safe hands. Kim, we love who you are, we would be less if we didn't have you.
