This scene sums up our 2020 - a tiny space with the most amazing people creating the most loved desserts! This 300-sq feet kitchen right behind our glorious shop front is where we make everything for the shop and farmers markets. This holiday alone, we produced over 25,000 cookies, 4,000 mini cheesecakes, and hundreds of cakes. Thanks to the tremendous support from our community, our small team of five women baked up a crazy storm during the pandemic. We are lucky enough to ...make it through 2020 so gracefully, but I must also stress that we did work our hearts out to not let this luck slip away. This incredible team keeps putting great care into their work, keeps rolling with the punches, keeps showing up for our people, keeps making Oh Sweet Day! shine! My shop wouldn’t be anything without them. And I can’t wait to spend another year, be it good or bad, with these lovely human beings! ~ Fanny

Back in March when the pandemic stopped all the weddings, anniversaries, parties...as much as we felt disappointed about the cancelled orders, we were also sad for our customers who couldn't celebrate their big moments! But slowly and cautiously, we started to do something smaller but cozier for you guys. And turned out these tiny celebrations have become even more memorable and meaningful! This romantic one goes to one of my long-time customers who's been with me even since I started working in a commissary kitchen. Happy anniversary!

We are always happy to put aside what's available at the shop for our customers to pick up later. We do it without asking our customers to pay in advance because we know our people. You are trust-worthy. You always are! Recently we've come across a few occasions where we received a call in the morning to reserve a cake only at the end of the day same call came to cancel it. Some of them were no-shows, or just decided to not pick up our calls at all while we were waiting to cl...ose... We lost the window to sell that cake. That window, be it big or small, is a loss for a small business. Whether or not we're able to put that cake back out to sell, we lost our resources. When another customer could not buy that cake because it's reserved by someone who's not going to pick it up eventually, we lost a chance to make our people happy. We also feel underappreciated. We are a group of passionate bakers who work long hours, on our feet all day, jam in a small kitchen, creating every single product with our heart and soul. We are incredibly grateful for the love we receive from our community. We love you back! For those who don’t seem to appreciate what we do, we are sorry that we lose you.
