You’re exhausted day 2, 3, after having a baby, and I was just kind of going through the motions ’cause I didn’t really know anything, I wasn’t as informed as I would like to be to ask the questions that I needed. Sometimes it can be hard to even know what questions to ask. The AOM’s What is jaundice? client handout provides background information to help facilitate clinical discussion with your midwife. https://bit.ly/2IMtSQn #OntarioMidwives #clientcentredcare https://www.ontariomidwives.ca/hyperbilirubinemia

Health Canada is investigating the use of NSAIDs at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy and the rare, but serious, risk of fetal kidney problems that can lead to low levels of amniotic fluid and possible complications, in response to a Drug Safety Communication recently released by the U.S. FDA on this issue. While Health Canada is investigating this issue, the Department is advising pregnant people not to use NSAIDs at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy unless advised to do so by their health-care professional. https://healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-aler//74239a-eng.php
