This Remembrance Day, we want to highlight our colleague John Walsh, Information Technology System’s employee and reservist. John chose to be a reservist because it gives him an opportunity to serve his community, provides new and interesting challenges and a change of pace from his daily work in IT at Ontario Northland. He’s been on several training exercises and even took leaves of absence of up to eight weeks at a time from his role at Ontario Northland to further his trai...ning. Reserves are an important part of the Canadian Armed Forces, they serve in local communities with events like the Santa Fund and they deploy domestically to assist with emergencies such as floods and forest fires and also on international operations along with regular force members. Thank you to all the men and women who served and continue to serve with the Canadian Armed Forces. Special thanks to our colleague John Walsh, your work is important and appreciated. #lestweforget #remembranceday

Reaching farther. In September, bus service will expand to Atikokan, Fort Frances and Emo. This will increase service between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg to six days per week growing the number of trips in the northwest region. Looking forward to welcoming you on board #takethebus
