This makes it hard to send your kids off with nut-free wholesome snacks, as nuts seem to be one of the main ingredients in a lot of the nutritious recipes circulating the whole foods world. With this nut-free recipe, prepare to be amazed as these bites... embody a peanut butter & jelly flavor, without the nuts: a win-win for all. Enjoy this recipe for 10 two-bite snacks! Ingredients: - cup Apple Sauce - cup Honey - 1 cup Gluten-Free Rolled Oats - cup Ground Flax - cup Shredded Coconut - 1 tbsp Organic Traditions Chia Seeds - cup Chocolate Chips (or raisins, this is optional) Instructions: 1. Stir all ingredients in a medium bowl until mixed. Cover, and let chill in the fridge for half an hour. 2. Roll into balls of whatever size you'd like, and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Notes: If a nut allergy is not a concern, simply switch out the pumpkin seed butter for peanut butter, for more of a pb & j taste.

Enjoy the recipe (makes 8 popsicles): INGREDIENTS ... - 1 can LIGHT Coconut Milk - 10 Cardamom Pods - tsp Dry Ginger Root - 1 tsp Cloves - tsp Peppercorns - 1 tbsp Earths Aromatique Black Chai Loose Leaf Tea heaping tbsp - 3 tsp Honey INSTRUCTIONS - Whisk coconut milk, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and peppercorns in a small pot. - Heat to just before boiling point, then place lid on pot and gently simmer for 10 minutes- until milk is barely bubbling. - Remove from heat, and stir the black chai tea into the coconut milk & spices. Allow the mixture to infuse for 5 minutes. - Strain tea and spices into a container with a pouring spout, and stir in honey. - Let cool, and when room temperature, pour into popsicle molds and place in the freezer. - Allow popsicles to sit, undisturbed, for 6 hours in the freezer.
