- As part of the Ontario government’s commitment to provide families with more opportunities to enjoy provincial parks, Ontario Parks is pleased to introduce a new product to support Ontario’s tourism sector, the Commercial Day-use Vehicle Permit. The Commercial Day-Use Vehicle Permit will provide unlimited day-use access to all provincial parks where payment is normally required - which represents more than 100 provincial parks in Ontario.

’ 2020. Peterborough RV Dealer, Al Robinson, lead the charge earlier this year in response to the COVID 19 crisis, developing community initiative, RV’s for Front Line Worker’s. The program successfully matched over 47 front line workers (police officers, paramedics, PSWs and nurses) , province-wide with temporary housing solutions; allowing front line staff to continue to serve their communitie...s while keeping their families safe. Robinson was also responsible for treating each donated RV with Zylion (an anti-microbial fog) before it was returned at no cost to the owner. Robinson is tireless in his efforts to support several charities and important community programs including walk for guide dogs, the food bank, local youth sports teams, hospital for sick kids, the Make- a-Wish foundation and more; he is an outstanding steward to our business community. Pictured above, Al celebrates with his Mother, 91 year old Marg Robinson, his wife Stacey and the staff of Great Canadian RV Ltd. Al’s mother has also enjoyed a life-long career in the RV and Camping industry. She and her late husband (Ken) opened M&K’s Beaver Park in Omemee in 1972, which is now a thriving Parkbridge Resort. Congratulations on over 42 years in the industry and as this year’s recipient of the Ontario Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association, RV Dealer of the Year Award!
