WANTED: Loving foster homes! Our shelter is bursting at the seams and we need your help. Can you open your home to a fluffy friend while we work to find adopters? About fostering for us: https://spca.bc.ca/faqs/foster-animal/ Apply: email Joe at [email protected]
As things progress we have decided to reopen , but with social distancing in place. For your protection, and that of our employees, we ask that you clean the area prior to our arrival. We will wear masks at your request, if someone has compromised health issues. We will clean the area once we are finished, before leaving. We hope this helps to protect everyone & allow people some normalcy in this difficult time.
Due to safety concerns for our customers and staff, we will be closed until further notice. Maintaining a two metre separation can be difficult, depending on what the job is. We are still responding to emergencies at this time, please call or email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Stay safe and take care of yourself and your family.

Miss FIFI-13 yrs old looking for her forever caretaker. After her mom died a couple of months ago shes been hanging out with foster mom and dad Bill and Linda.... She had a rough first while grieving the loss and is now doing much better. She has a grade 5 heart murmur and issues coughing at night which we are currently working with the vet. She gets along just fine but may need ongoing medication for her night time cough. We are looking for a loving senior person living near our vet or close to us in Langley who would like a sweet little companion to go for walks and hang out on the couch. SDRBC will pay all her medical costs. If youd like to know more about her please email Karen at [email protected]. Please share her

This is what happens when you put grease/fat down your kitchen sink drain, eventually you will need to have the drain pipes cleaned or replaced. To avoid fatty buildup in your drainage put the fat, from cooking, into a tin can and deposit the can into the garbage.
~*During this snowy period we would like to thank all our valued clients for their patience. The bosses are working hard to fulfill jobs, keep employees safe and find responsible use of the service trucks in the weather. Slowing down busy guys isnt easy but it sure is trying out there!
If youre using gas or wood burning appliances, please put CO detectors in your house. Place one in each bedroom and one in each room with a gas or wood burning appliance. They could save the lives of your family. https://vancouverisland.ctvnews.ca/mobile/video
It's time to think about scheduling your appointment for your furnace, fireplace, and boiler service, as well as a hot water tank check. Fortis BC is offering rebates for servicing your gas appliances. Here is there link to the rebate information. https://www.fortisbc.com//ApplianceMain/Pages/default.aspx
It's finally spring, now is a great time to wander around your house and yard to check for possible leaks or any other repairs or maintenance that needs to be performed. Give us a call to book an appointment.
We wanted to wish a Merry Christmas, to each and every one of you. Enjoy time with family and friends, be safe by not drinking and driving. Plan ahead by having a designated driver or take a cab. Our staff are also looking forward to celebrating the holidays with their family and friends. As a result we are only going out for emergency calls until Wednesday, December 28th. We will work from Wednesday until Friday, with emergency calls only until January 2nd.
For those of you who have garbage disposals, something to consider. Here's a link for you to check out: https://homehacks.co/things-not-in-garbage-disposal/
We are now recognized by the Better Business Bureau, check us out: http://www.phplumbing.ca/
We continue to try to meet all of our customer requests, please be patient with us. Paul is away due to a family illness, we will attempt to keep up with everything but we are down by one this week. Have a wonderful week, enjoy time with family and friends.
We have attempted to contact all of our customers for service. If we have missed you, and you would like a service call for maintenance, please contact us by phone at 250-248-9300 or by email at phplumbing.ca.
We continue to be busy, especially with fall service appointments. Service consists of cleaning your furnace or fireplace, whether gas or electric, as well as checkin operating systems and for excess CO. In-floor systems should have the boiler, manifold, and other important parts checked at least every second year. Please remember to book your service appointment early as we currently have about two week wait for appointments.
Thank you Diane! We strive to provide the best services, we can, for our clients.
We will be contacting customers soon to book appointments for service or maintenance on furnaces, boilers, fireplaces, or any other gas appliances you might have. Maintaining your appliances is recommended every second year.
We are currently seeking a plumbing and heating service technician to join our team. We are a small home based business that operates between Bowser and Nanoose Bay. We alternate being on-call during weekends, so you will be expected to work, on call, every third weekend. Please send your resume to [email protected].
It's Spring and we are getting a few calls about rapid pecking or tapping noises from furnaces or gas hot water tanks. The source of the noise may be from a male woodpecker trying to attract a mate, by making the most noise that they possibly can. When you hear the noise, go outside and check your metal vent, you may be surprised what you see.
Helping the technician to install our new water tank. He added 10% to the invoice??? Great work P&H Plumbing and Heating.
Calls for heating system servicing is starting to slow down a bit so if you've put it off, now is a great time to call us for an appointment.
Back to regular hours, 8:30 a.m. until 4 pm, daily. Evenings and Weekend emergencies only. Happy New Year!
Except for emergencies, we will be closed for inventory, between Dec. 24th, 2016 and Jan. 3, 2017. Have a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years Eve. Please don't drink and drive, call a friend, family member, or a taxi to ensure you get home safely.
We are extremely busy servicing heating systems, prior to full on heating season, due to customers wanting to take advantage of the Fortis rebate prior to when it is no longer available. Please understand, we are doing our best to service all of our customers. We have two employees and Paul working overtime every day and also for the past few Saturdays.
We are booking up fast for service on gas appliances. If you want a rebate from Fortis make sure to call now for service before the end of October. Not many openings left.
If you are thinking it's time to replace that inefficient, problematic furnace check out the Fortis BC website to see how you can get a $800 rebate. https://www.fortisbc.com/
We know it's only August, but..... Heating season will soon be upon us, so it's time to book your service appointment for your in-floor heating or your gas or electric furnace. If you have a gas fireplace or hot water tank they should also be maintained annually to increase the performance and longevity of your appliances and to decrease the chances of an emergency repair bill. We try to contact everyone on our maintenance list, but it is hard to reach all of you. So if you want to make sure you get an appointment that is convenient for your schedule, please, contact us & we will be happy to book an appointment for you.
We love hearing from our customers!! "Thanks P&H for getting on this job. As we are "out of town" purchasers - we were glad we could rely on your company doing the work." - C&G July 20, 2016
