As a family with a child that has cancer, POGO has been a huge support for us, for the last four years. We raised the money selling home made honey, and will continue to do so in the years ahead. Erwin Kooi Meet the Kooi family who donated their honey sale proceeds from this summer to both POGO Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario and Camp Oochigeas. Thank you for giving back in such a delicious way!

On #BrainCancerAwarenessDay, we want to recognize the significant gains made in the survival of children with certain types of central nervous system (CNS) tumours. 75% of children diagnosed with CNS tumours in Ontario will survive for at least 5 years. However, #braintumoursurvival rates can range drastically depending on many factors, including the type of tumour diagnosed and its stage. ... More research is needed to investigate the causes of childhood cancer and its treatment. For more data about CNS tumours and other childhood cancers, read the 2020 POGO Surveillance Report. https://www.pogo.ca//data-r/2020-pogo-surveillance-report/
