Many Councillors, including myself, have benefited from the experience and wisdom imparted by Rundle Ray Jones. I am certain the people and communities he represented benefited from his representation too. I wish you all the best and good health in your well earned retirement, Councillor Jones.

I am very happy to see EPR in the news again. It does not get nearly the amount of attention it deserves. Reduced municipal taxes, more jobs, money into the economy, better recycling outcomes, simpler recycling rules, and reduced GHG emissions are some of the benefits of EPR. Put them in whatever order you choose: there is no good reason for the YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) not to adopt this legislation. Let your MLA know that supporting EPR is an EASY WIN for them! In the meantime, I will continue to fight to put the savings back in your pocket.
Please keep an eye out for this scam. KidSport Calgary does not go door-to-door looking for bottle donations, but apparently someone is doing so while claiming to be them.
