The first time I ever protested anything was last year with the teacher's cuts to education. I have avoided taking a stand, often because I usually don't know enough to solidly debate, if someone were to challenge my opinion. It turns out I don't need to know everything in order to stand up for what I believe in. I just need to stand up. Your psoas muscles really are so incredibly complex and brilliant. Wow. I mean, I thought I knew that before, but this course is blowing my Pilates nerd mind. Looking forward to integrating this knowledge into my teaching practise.

PILATES FOR SEWERS Good day Sewing Army ! A few of you have expressed that your back and neck are getting sore from hours of sewing. This gentle vid is for bringing your body back to a more neutral alignment and relieving a bit of tension. Repeat it once, twice or three times a day. **Please listen to your body and if you feel pain, don't do it! This work should feel good and easy on your body.... **if your neck is sore when you lie down, grab a pillow for behind your head. BONUS: add jumping jacks on the end for a bit of full bodied awesomeness. Enjoy, and thank you for making our community safer.

Wow, Melanie Byford-Young’s post are always so well articulated ! Here’s a beautiful explanation of the difference between a disc herniation and disc degeneration. Both issues would benefit from mindful Pilates rehabilitation.
