Pink Shirt Day is coming up on Wednesday. We encourage everyone to wear pink to take a stand against bullying. More importantly, we encourage everyone to be kind... Wednesday and every day.

Just a reminder that with the extended Family Day weekend and Teachers' Convention, there is no school next week.

Hopefully this is the last time this winter and we get some more moderate temperatures. All bus routes are cancelled for Friday, February 12. As always, schools... remain open when buses are not running. Please note that as scheduled, there is no school on Friday for schools in Breton and Drayton Valley.

Buses will once again not be running for tomorrow, Thursday, February 11. Schools remain open for those students who are able to safely get there and home. It's just too cold for the buses!

Pizza kits arrive tomorrow (Monday). Parents are asked to pick them up between 3:30 and 6:00 PM and to distribute them to their customers. Due to space limitations, we are not able to store any kits overnight. Despites assurances from Little Caesars, they informed us the pepperoni kits will not be delivered to the school until November 23. Students are asked to please inform their customers of this delay. Alberta Health Services has made an adjustment to the daily COVID-19 checklist for students. Students are no longer required to isolate for 10 days if they have... the symptoms of "runny nose" or "sore throat". They are still required to stay home if they have these symptoms, but they can return to school once the symptoms are gone. Students are still required to isolate for the full 10 days if they have any one of the following: fever, cough, shortness of breath or loss of smell or taste. Please remember that staying home when sick is still one of the most effective measures we can take to stop the spread of COVID-19.
