Manitoba Fibre Trail off to a great start!

Prairie’s Edge lies on 40 acres of bush, pasture, and remnant native grassland. This year the blue stem is spectacular. If you are passing through on the Manitoba Fibre Trail this weekend you are welcome to take a short walk on the blue stem trail. Plus the goldenrod is still in bloom for those who naturally dye.

Nice to see some recognition of small flock fibre farmers and publicity for the upcoming Fibre Trail.

Less than two weeks until the Manitoba Fibre Trail September 11-13! Prairie’s Edge will be a stop on the trail. Friday Sept.11 - noon to 5:00pm Saturday Sept.12 - 10:00 to 5:00pm... Sunday Sept. 13 - 10:00 to 5:00pm In addition to an assortment of Shetland wool batts in natural colours for spinning and felting on sale there will other vendors including: Cloud 9 Fibreworks Beary Wise Creations Generation Fibreworks (Friday and Saturday only) And of course the sheep and famous angora goats!
