Dear friends - This is a reminder that due to the uncertainty around the COVID virus, the planning committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our Project Connect event for 2020. Good morning. At an online meeting of the planning team, after some discussion, it was agreed that our proposed October 2020 Project Connect event could not go forward. There is too much uncertainty around the availability of the venue, the rules concerning large gatherings and the ability of our partner agencies to send staff support. We will continue to consider how we might offer an opportunity for clients and service to connect in a meaningful way in the spring of 2021. Need a ride to get to and/or from Project Connect on October 23? The City of Medicine Hat has generously donated bus passes for the day to ensure all guests are able to get down to St. John's Presbyterian Church for the event! Bus passes are available now and can be picked up at St. John's Church, the Salvation Army Resource Centre in the back of Fifth Avenue Memorial United Church, and at Medicine Hat Community Housing Society! Also, be sure to stop by Medicine Hat Transit's booth to learn all about their new live transit app!
