Hi all If the Legion parking lot is cleared by 2:00 PM we will open. With Chase the Ace at 3:00 PM. If not we will have to stay closed. I will try to post whats happening around 2:00 PM.

A message from NS/NU Command Comrades: With deep sadness I write to inform you of the sudden passing of NS/NU Command District D Commander Peter Comeau, Past President of RCL Branch 067, Weymouth. To honour District Commander Comeau, all NS/NU Command Branch flags are to be... lowered effective immediately and returned to full mast on Wednesday February 02. A special thanks to all who helped with and came out to our yard sale.

The Legion will be holding a fund raising YARD SALE on Sept. 26th. All Covid19 protocalls will be in place.(Masks, distancing, hand sanitizing and limiting numbers) Donations to the yard sale can be droped off from 4:00PM to 6:00 PM on Sept. 24th and 25th. Other arangments can be made by calling 902 243 3425. Thank you for your support and understanding.

At the meeting on Thursday Sept. 3rd it was decided to keep the Legion closed a while longer,until we get more information on the guidlines. Particularly around playing cards. We are moving our meeting day to the first Thursday of the month. We will be holding our next meeting on October 1st at 7:00 PM. The meetings will now be held in the hall to help members with mobility issues attend. Thanks for your understanding and support.

Sorry to hear about Arnold,My Condolances to the Family.Another good Cousin passed.

At the meeting on Thursday July 9th the majority voted to keep the Legion closed at least until September. We will be holding another meeting on September 3rd at 5:30 PM to review the situation and hopefully vote to reopen. The meeting will be held in the hall. Any member who would like to have input should be there. Thanks for your understanding. See you at the meeting. Have a great summer and stay safe.
