Leanne Rapley is the proud Chair of the Board of Management of Community Centre 55. As we at Rapley & Company navigate the challenges and novelties of life associated with COVID-19, we are mindful that food insecurity is a real and increasing concern for too many people in our City and our neighbourhood. Centre 55 has been helping to support The Neighbourhood Group and the Emergency COVID-19 Food Bank that was started a few weeks ago at Main and Kingston Road. Thanks to ge...nerous donations, approximately 80 seniors each week have been able to access food, but new referrals continue to come in. As the demand grows, so does the need for donations. If you are able to donate any items, or know of anyone else who would like to donate, please contact Joyce MacDonald at the Neighbourhood Group directly to arrange for drop offs or pickups.
