Happy 103rd birthday Seymour!! We are so proud to be able to celebrate this special day with you today!

It’s Groundhog day today. Luckily our little ground hogs peaked out of their holes and didn’t see their shadows so we are hopeful that it will be an early spring.

It has been a tough year but Treat Friday’s are something our residents have looked forward to each week this year. Here are some of the yummy things they’ve received. Plus a cute note to bring a smile to their faces. Only one more day until Treat day!!!

Our residents were so lucky today to have a visit from Bee Meadow Farm. They brought 2 horses and 2 ponies to parade around our building for residents to see. The animals were dressed for Christmas including a Santa pony. This brought so much joy to our residents. Thank you Bee Meadow Farm!

Thank you to the Kindergartens at Viscount Alexander School for making Christmas cards for our residents.

We would like to thank the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall and Cogeco for providing TV Bingo cards and snacks for many of our residents to play Tuesday night from the comfort of their homes. This week was a special BINGO in honour of Veterans and seniors in our community. Our residents really enjoyed playing. Thank you!!

Our residents would like to say Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful women in their lives. We surprised our ladies with roses this morning to brighten their day.

We wanted to let our friends and family know that our residents are doing well and are healthy and happy. They also have a great sense of humour. Some are posting funny and thankful messages on their suite doors for staff to see. We have such wonderful residents and staff.

Covid 19 update: Dear families and friends of Riverdale Terrace We have been receiving an abundance of packages / deliveries to reception from friends and families. ... We are asking that families /caregivers only drop off emergency items for their loved ones. We are able to provide all of our residents with basic essentials during this time. We have a delivery service for all medical or pharmaceutical needs and a tuck shop with basic essentials that our residents can access through our staff. As we are diligently trying to reduce any exposure to our residents and sanitize anything that comes into Riverdale Terrace, we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
