Farmer Phil (Phil's Farm) has fresh chickens this weekend, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ireland Farms in Saanichton writes: "We’ve got ‘Naturally Raised Free Range’ chickens available." Also, a reminder that Starling Lane Winery and Heritage Farm are hosting the 4th Annual Jane Austen Tea Party "in an English country garden" today and Sunday, from 1-4pm. Today is National Aboriginal Day join us for a dedication of "Sky Woman" by sculptor Michel Beauvais a member of the Kahnawake Mohawk Band. We will also have a carving demonstration and other art work on display. Festivities begin at 2:00 PM with the sculpture dedication at 5:30 PM.
