Finally got to have dinner outside of the house last week for a special birthday celebration (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!). We had the pleasure of dining @sabor_yeg a...nd this restaurant never disappoints. No matter what it is that you get, if it's a rack of lamb or a piece of fish, your taste buds will thank you for getting it. Sabor is truly one of the greatest restaurants in Edmonton. Some of our favorites were the Seafood Platter (their risotto is amazing!), Piri Piri Dusted Fried Calamari, and Seafood Paella! Here's what we had! 1. Meat and Cheese Board $36 2. Piri Piri Dusted Fried Calamari $12 3. Grilled Octopus with Black Olive Tapenade $15 4. Seafood Platter (includes King Crab & Asparagus Risotto, Full Lobster, Mussels & Clams in a Saffron Cream, Piri Piri Prawns, Seared Scallops, and Piri Piri Dusted Fried Calamari) $130 5. Lamb Rack $34 6. Seafood Paella $34 7. Chicken & Chorizo Paella $28 8. Piri Piri Chicken $28 The portion sizes here are HUGE so bring your stomachs when you do go or do it family style and share everything! But I mean....who wants to share right?! The lights are on and we are pleased to share our entire team at 124 St. has received a clean bill of health and we are set to open our doors today at 4pm. Thank you so much for the kind words of support over the past week...We are so grateful our staff is healthy and we will continue to be vigilant in doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by maintaining sanitization standards and wearing masks...We ask our valued customers to do the same.

Dear friends, we have made the difficult decision to close BODEGA 124 until September 15 as we've received news one of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift the employee worked was September 2. They immediately self-isolated upon feeling unwell and are at home recovering. We have been in contact with AHS and are following all recommendations. Although we are not legally mandated to close our doors, we are taking this additional precaution to ensure the ...restaurant is safe for staff and patrons upon reopening. At this time, all staff at Bodega 124 are being tested and we will only open once negative test results are confirmed. In the meantime, we are conducting a deep clean of the entire restaurant and kitchen with the hope to reopen at 4pm on September 15.
