We recently stumbled upon this photo of Aidan taken at the Schoolhouse just over 10 years ago. This was back before we officially transformed it into the small, yet mighty production facility we (and our incredible team) work from to this day. It is extremely humbling to reflect back on the early days, when you were all still getting to know us. All these years later, we have you to thank - our valued customers - for continuing to make Schoolhouse a part of your regular groce...ry budget. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Even though we continue to make the classics that have been around since the very beginning, we are also finding as much time as we can to innovate and create new items by hand with love - using the most wholesome ingredients. We will always aim to bring you products that push the envelope; gluten-free goodies, dairy-free and vegan options that tickle the tastebuds and give you the chance to enjoy all of the baked goods you would normally miss out on when making the switch to a life free from gluten. Again, we can’t possibly thank you all enough for believing in what we do. We’re back, friends - we missed you! 2020 is now in the past and 2021 has officially arrived. Happy New Year! Did you know that the Halifax Brewery Market is our main pick-up point for the HRM? You can place an order in the online shop, select ‘Brewery Market Pick-Up’, pay in advance and then collect your eats & treats (at no extra cost) either at the Neighbourhood Goods Store on Fridays between 10am-2pm or directly at our booth on Saturdays between 8am-1pm. If you prefer to pre-order and pay in cash at the booth on Saturdays, just email a list of the items/products you’d like us to ...set aside for you to [email protected]! For those who can’t make it to the market or who live outside of the city, we offer delivery within the HRM twice a week for a $5 flat fee/$20 flat fee for folks in rural areas of the province and across the Maritimes. Orders are always due by 3pm every Monday for delivery on Wednesday or by 3pm every Wednesday (that’s tomorrow!) for delivery on Friday. For our customers based outside of the HRM/Maritime provinces, our weekly Canada-wide deadline is every Monday by 3pm for delivery on Wednesday (East Coast) and by EOD Thursday (Central/West Coast).
