Unfortunately, we had many bikes dumped in the garbage dumpsters here at Sherkston this year during end of year clean up. Fortunately, "one person's junk is another's treasure"! 'Broken Spoke Bike Program' at Port Colborne High School was established at in 2015. The mission of this program engages students in the understanding and benefits of refurbishing bicycles to provide enjoyment and transportation for themselves and those less fortunate. Students earn a high school credit while participating in this program. Featured in photo: John Mollicone (from Sherkston Security team) assisted Aubrey (of the Broken Spoke program) in unloading the donated bicycles from Sherkston Shores.
