On the day we take to remember, let us not forget that all those men and women heard the call to service and made a great sacrifice. Today is not to glorify war or even the departed but to mark the occasion and as much as most soldiers do hope for a day when wars are avoided and win the only race worth winning, the human race. We live in a future paid for by their loss.... #remember

Hoping everyone is doing well, practice remains suspended for the time being and obviously until the province indicates that it's safe. Aikido is among a group of martial arts that by its very nature is an intimate practice. So we'll just have to wait. Take care in the meantime and be well.

The world is still a strange place and it might be a while until we get back to practicing on the mats again but we'll be here waiting Take care everyone and stay safe, Aikido's country home
